LEXUS has upgraded its GS300 luxury sports sedan for 1999 with larger (17-inch) diameter wheels and wider, low-profile 235/45ZR17 tyres.
Inside, the car gets better interior lighting and improved access to the child restraint anchorages.
The GS300, released earlier this year, was the first car sold in Australia with intelligent variable valve timing.
SAAB Automobile has appointed Peter Augustsson to the post of Executive Vice President.
Mr Augustsson, 43, worked with Volvo and SKF before moving to Saab.
TOYOTA has released a limited edition of its Starlet 3-door mini.
Known as the Max, the car has five-spoke alloy wheels, a CD player, rear sunshade and Starlet Max decals.
Toyota will equip 400 cars to the Max and the cars will be priced $500 above the comparable Life model.
HYUNDAI has two pre-Christmas specials. The first is a $1000 cashback on Excel Sprint and the second is a $5000 value pack on Lantra models.
Driveaway pricing is $19,990 for the sedan and $20,990 for the wagon.
